Jo Has Always Been Somewhat Unafraid
|
~ As a kid, she would swing over the city mill pond hanging on to a vine, like in the Tarzan movies. ~ When she was an airline stewardess, she flew with troops under fire into Viet Nam. ~ When she discovered flying, she learned to fly a Cessna 172. ~When she traveled to Majuro atoll, she slept in a WWII bunker. ~When she was an LA Zoo docent, she overcame her fear of snakes by handling Monty, the python, in front of hundreds of school children. ~She taught her children to work hard and to also take risks. |
